Gama Machinery USA Guns win approval for Spray ExpandoThane Polyurea

SoyThane Technologies Inc. announced March 24, 2010 that the Air Purge Lines of Plural Component Spray guns as manufactured by Gama Machinery USA Inc of New Jersey were the only guns to date to be approved to spray ExpandoThane Polyurea Roof Coating.

Tom Hay, Technical Advisor for SoyThane Technologies Inc was quoted as saying "Over my personal 40 years in the multi component industry I cannot recall ever using as quality a gun as Gama has brought to the market and I believe I have seen and or used any gun to date.

I had the honor of putting the Gama Master gun in my hand and pulling the trigger over a year ago for the first time. Just the feel of the gun made me feel like I could spray all day as I did 10 years ago.

The pattern was superb and I feel the mixing chamber design allowed for better cleaning with the Air Purge and I did not notice any spitting of material. What really sold me on the Gama gun was the going back to the mixing chamber being drilled straight through rather then off set. I have always feared by letting one material of a two component leaving the gun first can cause blistering on the roof due to the materials being at a slight off 1 - 1 ratio which is not acceptable in roof applications. Gama has taken my fears away."

SoyThane Technologies has tested other guns and will continue to test other guns so others may be approved for use with the ExpandoThane Polyurea Roof Coating system. Certified applicators can check this Web Site or will be notified when and if another gun will be certified for use with its products.
